Xbox 360 X-Clamp repair fail?

Alright, So i have a late 07 elite that recently RROD (yes elites DO rrod). The first thin I did was remove old thermal paste and apply AS5, then I overheated the system for about 20 mins and it worked, for about 45 minutes. I then disassembled the system again and did the x-clamp fix according to llamas xbox repair guide. I am currently in the process of overheating my system like the guide instructs, but when I power on the machine I get green lights and i go to the dashboard. After about 5 minutes my xbox went to a solid green screen and I left it for a few minutes before restarting. Now I am frozen on the boot screen and the machine does not seem to be overheating. The fan is running at normal speed and it has been on for about 10 mins like this. Any suggestions?
