If you are an avid gamer who enjoys the Xbox 360 then chances are you have heard of the red ring of death. But what exactly is it, what causes it and how can you prevent it? Well I am here to shed a little light on the mystery surrounding the red ring of death.
The red ring of death is the Xbox 360′s way of telling you what is going wrong with the console. It is broken up in to four quadrants and a different combination of lights signifies a different error. One red light is a hardware error, two for overheating, four if there is an issue with the a/v cable and the worst error the dreaded three red lights. This is caused when there is a general hardware failure. This normally means that the console has an error on the motherboard.
To prevent this occurring on your console there are a few points to think about that will help stop the red ring of death.
